Rick grew up in Silicon Valley, where as a young boy, his father developed residential real estate properties. Rick witnessed him building custom homes from the ground up which had a huge influence and impact on Rick. He knew then that real estate was a huge inspiration to him. While other five year old boys were riding bikes and playing ball, Rick would be fascinated with the procedure of how houses were built from the ground up. He remembers smelling the fresh lumber and watching it turn into a custom home almost like magic. That indescribable feeling had such an impact on his life, whether it be his own custom home, located in the Covenant of Rancho Santa Fe, or others that he has now built throughout his real estate career.
